I got to swim at the beach in early June and the water was perfect, since it is seperate from Lake Temiskaming, otherwise would have been too cold. It was a highlight to be able to swim at the beach right by the hotel. The staff is really friendly and they make an enjoyable free breakfast for the guests.”

“Be sure to contact the Microtel in Kirkland Lake directly. Don't bother booking through Expedia. We booked 3 rooms. Non of them were refundable. We booked one of the rooms for 2 nights. We THOUGHT we were on the Wyndam site booking directly however bots and scammers pose as the actual site. “The staff were cooperative and helpful. Not bad when all the hotels are fully booked during the CME in Timmins. Had to travel 250 odd kms to find a place.”

“Recently renovated and converted property with large suites, adequately furnished with all basic furniture and kitchen appliances and dishes etc. Rooms were clean, linen was good quality, kitchen was clean and tidy. Great short term stay. ”

“The host Ashley-Anne was very polite and greet us upon arrival. Check in was straight forward and parking was conveniently located. The suite was amiable. The room was clean with black robes/slippers and a very thoughtful welcome letter. The view of the lake was breathtaking. Access to kayaks and fire pit was very nice. Definitely worth the way! ”
